   "content" : "Den amerikanske delen av TikTok er nå solgt til en gruppe internasjonale investorer, melder [The New York Times](https://www.nytimes.com/2026/01/22/technology/tiktok-deal-oracle-bytedance-china-us.html).\n\nDermed er en flere år lang konflikt mellom amerikanske myndigheter og det kinesiske eierselskapet ByteDance avsluttet.\n\n## Solgt etter flere år med strid\n\nBakgrunnen for salget er krav fra amerikanske myndigheter om at TikToks virksomhet i USA måtte ut av kinesisk eierskap, av hensyn til nasjonal sikkerhet.\n\nKongressen vedtok våren 2024 [et lovforslag](https://www.nrk.no/norge/biden-har-signert-tiktok-ultimatum_-selg-eller-bli-forbudt-i-usa-1.16856967) som åpnet for forbud mot appen dersom ByteDance ikke solgte.\n\nLoven ble signert av daværende president Joe Biden.\n\nUten en avtale ville TikTok ha mistet tilgang til et marked med over 200 millioner brukere i USA.\n\nAvtalen mellom ByteDance og investorene ble undertegnet i desember. ByteDance beholder en eierandel på 19,9 prosent i den amerikanske virksomheten.\n\n## Oracle og fond fra Emiratene blant eierne\n\nDe nye investorene består av den amerikanske IT\\-giganten Oracle og investeringsselskapet MGX i Abu Dhabi, samt Silver Lake, et annet investeringsselskap.\n\nDe nye investorene eier dermed til sammen over 80 prosent av den amerikanske delen av TikTok.\n\nTeknologimilliardæren Michael Dell er også på eiersiden med en personlig investering, opplyser TikTok ifølge NYT.\n\nAdam Presser, som tidligere jobbet som driftssjef og leder for tillit og sikkerhet i TikTok, vil lede det nye selskapet som administrerende direktør. Han vil ha med seg et styre på syv medlemmer, deriblant Tiktoks administrerende direktør, Shou Chew, skriver nyhetsbyrået AP.\n\n## Trump takker Kina\n\nUSAs president Donald Trump bekrefter salget i et innlegg på Truth Social natt til fredag.\n\n– Jeg er glad for å ha bidratt til å redde TikTok. ByteDance og investorene ble undertegnet i desember. ByteDance beholder en eierandel på 19,9 prosent i den amerikanske virksomheten.</p>\n<h2>Oracle og fond fra Emiratene blant eierne</h2>\n<p>De nye investorene består av den amerikanske IT-giganten Oracle og investeringsselskapet MGX i Abu Dhabi, samt Silver Lake, et annet investeringsselskap.</p>\n<p>De nye investorene eier dermed til sammen over 80 prosent av den amerikanske delen av TikTok.</p>\n<p>Teknologimilliardæren Michael Dell er også på eiersiden med en personlig investering, opplyser TikTok ifølge NYT.</p>\n<p>Adam Presser, som tidligere jobbet som driftssjef og leder for tillit og sikkerhet i TikTok, vil lede det nye selskapet som administrerende direktør.
