Ulykken har skjedd ikke langt fra krysset der Himbergveien kommer til, og snaue to kilometer fra Amundrød.**\n\nKart med ID 458036\n\n## Kan bli to politisaker\n\n**Etter å ha undersøkt saken nærmere, og avhørt de to sjåførene som var involvert, forteller politiet at det dreiser seg om en møteulykke der den ene av bilene har kommet over i motgående kjørefelt.**\n\n– Fører av denne er en mann i 70\\-åra, han har fått status som mistenkt i saken, forklarer operasjonsleder Aaser.\n\n**I samtalene med den andre sjåføren, en kvinne i 40\\-åra, fikk politiet mistanke om at ikke alt var som det skulle. Tester viste at de hadde rett.**\n\n– Hun blåste til over lovlig verdi i alkometer og mistenkes for promillekjøring. Fremstilles for videre bevisopptak, understreker Aaser.\n\nDet er ikke meldt om personskade i kollisjonen.\n\n– Det kan hende de blir sjekket på legevakten, sier Tor Andersen Gunnerød, patruljeleder i politiet på stedet, til Sandefjords Blad.\n\n## Mange kjører for fort\n\nØstlands\\-Posten skrev i 2025 flere saker om kjøringen på Furustadveien, der mange kjører for fort.\n\nI mars i fjor fortalte en grunneier litt lenger bort i Furustadveien at hans inntrykk var at 99 prosent av alle som passerer forbi, kjører for fort:\n\n**– Det er mange som kjører her fordi det er moro, med mange svinger og veldig oversiktlig strekning. Men det kan være farlig. Jeg har sett andre som har havna på taket på denne strekningen.**\n\nI mars og april mistet to bilførere førerkortet etter å ha kjørt ut av veien om lag en kilometer lenger øst, da i et område som ligger Larvik kommune.\n\n**Flere steder på Østlandet har det kommet meldinger om glatte veier torsdag, mens det i Vestfold ikke kom like mye snø som det var meldt. Tester viste at de hadde rett.</b></p><amedia-placeholder index=\"6\" wordcount=\"176\" /><p>– Hun blåste til over lovlig verdi i alkometer og mistenkes for promillekjøring. Fremstilles for videre bevisopptak, understreker Aaser.</p><amedia-placeholder index=\"7\" wordcount=\"195\" /><p>Det er ikke meldt om personskade i kollisjonen.</p><amedia-placeholder index=\"8\" wordcount=\"203\" /><p>– Det kan hende de blir sjekket på legevakten, sier Tor Andersen Gunnerød, patruljeleder i politiet på stedet, til Sandefjords Blad.</p><amedia-placeholder index=\"9\" wordcount=\"224\" /><h2>Mange kjører for fort</h2><p>Østlands-Posten skrev i 2025 flere saker om kjøringen på Furustadveien, der mange kjører for fort.</p><amedia-placeholder index=\"10\" wordcount=\"239\" /><p>I mars i fjor fortalte en grunneier litt lenger bort i Furustadveien at hans inntrykk var at 99 prosent av alle som passerer forbi, kjører for fort:</p><amedia-placeholder index=\"11\" wordcount=\"266\" /><p><b>– Det er mange som kjører her fordi det er moro, med mange svinger og veldig oversiktlig strekning. Men det kan være farlig.
