Men spørsmålet i ettertid ble jo hvor jeg skulle ha dem, for de egner seg jo ikke så godt i en liten stue, som jeg har her i O. H. Holtas gate, sier Borgar i det lille, historiske huset, som i 2021 fikk byggeskikkprisen etter restaurering.\n\n## I et kulturelt miljø\n\nEtter først å ha blitt stilt ut på gårdsplassen foran huset, tenkte Borgar at det hadde jo vært hyggeligere om de ble synlige for flere mennesker og et kulturelt innslag langs Linna, bare et godt steinkast fra både Studio K til skulptør Dag Bratbergsengen og galleriet i Telemark kunstmuseum. I tillegg er jo hele det gamle Tinfos\\-området kulturhistorisk verdi.\n\nÉn skulptur tok han med seg til familiens hus i Arendal, mens tre står utenfor gjerdet til eiendommen langs Tinnelva og Linna.\n\n\\- Den største er laget av metall og har assosiasjoner til den ugandiske diktatoren Idi Amin. Det er jo litt dyster kunst, men Mørch var nok opptatt av en del alvorlige situasjoner og temaer i verden, sier Borgar.\n\n## Båt og flåte\n\nDen andre skulpturen er en båt, som Borgar selv mener ligner veldig på fraktskipet D/S Hestmanden, som spilte en viktig rolle under begge verdenskrigene.\n\n\\- Jeg vet ikke om Mørch hadde den i tankene da han lagde denne båten, men jeg liker at skulpturen er litt røff og solid, sier Borgar.\n\nDen siste skulpturen er av en flåte, som bringer kister over en elv. Alle disse minnene fikk sin forløsning på 1970\\-tallet, og jeg brukte nesten 10 år på å bli kvitt dem.\"\n\nMørch ble i 1964 ansatt som høgskolelektor i estetiske fag ved Statens lærerskole i forming \\(fra 1976: Telemark lærerhøgskole\\) i Notodden. Jeg synes det er litt moro å ha noe lokal kunst og ble invitert til det lokalet hvor alt var stilt ut - og disse skulpturene snakket litt til meg. Men spørsmålet i ettertid ble jo hvor jeg skulle ha dem, for de egner seg jo ikke så godt i en liten stue, som jeg har her i O. H. Axel Mørchs far var styrmann på en fangstbåt og mistet livet ved et krigsforlis utenfor Southampton, uten at man vet om det påvirket kunsten til Mørch senere i livet. Gjennom hele livet hadde jeg lagret meg opp bilder av ødelagte hjem, forvridde jernkonstruksjoner, ruiner og folk i nød i et nærmest sønderbombet land.
