Nå er det bekreftet at minst en er smittet av fugleinfluensa. Det er også påvist fugleinfluensa andre steder i landet.\n\nOnsdag 17. desember ble det observert flere døde kanadagjess ved Sagstusjøen, litt nord for Årnes. Fire stykker ble sendt til Mattilsynet, som igjen sendte dem videre til Veterinærinstituttet for å ta prøver. Nå er prøvesvaret klart.\n\n– Fire fugler ble sendt inn for testing, og av disse hadde én fugl så høye virusnivåer at laboratoriet kunne fastslå at det var høypatogen fugleinfluensa H5N1. De tre andre testet positivt for Influensa A, som er virusgruppen fugleinfluensa tilhører, sier Guro Frydenlund, seniorrådgiver hos Mattilsynet.\n\n## Sirkulerer blant villfugl\n\n– Vi vet at fugleinfluensa sirkulerer blant villfugl i hele landet, og sykdommen blir jevnlig påvist hos ville fugler flere steder i Norge. Sykdommen er nylig påvist på ville fugler i Oslo og nærliggende kommuner, sier Astri Ham, som er fungerende seksjonssjef for produksjonsdyr øst i Mattilsynet.\n\nIfølge Mattilsynets oversikt over registrerte tilfeller av fugleinfluensa ble det også bekreftet at en kanadagås var smittet av fugleinfluensa i Ullensaker 23. desember.\n\n## Flere fugletyper\n\n*– Har dere fått noen flere meldinger om døde fugler i Nes?*\n\n– Vi har fått inn seks meldinger om døde villfugl ved kraftstasjonen på Rånåsfoss, og en melding om to døde andefugler på Sagstusjøen. Disse meldingene har kommet inn i julen. Det er ikke bestemt ennå om det skal tas prøver av disse fuglene, sier Guro Frydenlund.\n\nArne Lund er en av personene som har meldt ifra om døde svaner ved kraftstasjonen på Rånåsfoss.\n\n– For en stund siden så jeg en død svane i samme område, men den lå på land. Nå kom jeg igjen over døde fugler. Det som overrasket meg denne gangen var at det var mange døde svaner som lå sammen i vannet, sier Lund.\n\nHan fortsetter:\n\n– I tillegg til de fem døde observerte jeg én som levde, men den sturet og så veldig syk ut. Det fikk meg til å mistenke fugleinfluensa. Jeg har meldt ifra om funnet mitt til Mattilsynet, sier Lund.\n\n## Smitter sjelden til mennesker\n\nMattilsynet forteller at det er viktig å melde ifra om man kommer over døde fugler.\n\n– Vi bruker informasjonen til å vurdere om vi skal ta prøver av fuglene og få en oversikt over smittesituasjonen i et område, sier Astri Ham og legger til:\n\n– Fugleinfluensa er en svært smittsom sykdom for fugler, og det er ikke mulig å stoppe smitte blant villfugl. Fuglene smittes hovedsakelig av hverandre og det er dessverre lite vi kan gjøre for å forhindre det. De mest vanlige symptomene er nedsatt skyhet, balanseproblemer, unormal vridning av hodet og vanskeligheter med å fly. En fugl kan være smittet med fugleinfluensa selv om den ikke viser alle symptomene samtidig.\n\n*– Hvis man kommer over en syk fugl, hva oppfordrer dere til å gjøre?*\n\n– Selv om smitte til mennesker er svært sjeldent, er det viktig å ikke ta direkte på syke og døde fugler. Vi anbefaler at privatpersoner ikke håndterer fugler som kan være smittet av fugleinfluensa, men lar syke fugler være i fred. Det stresser fuglene, og kan i tillegg bidra til å spre smitte. Noen fugler kan også overleve sykdommen om de får ro. Vi har råd om fugleinfluensa på våre nettsider, og oppfordrer folk til å følge disse, sier Ham.\n\nPå Mattilsynets sider står det at det aldri har vært påvist smitte av fugleinfluensa hos mennesker i Norge, men at det kan forekomme smitte til mennesker ved svært nær kontakt med syke eller døde dyr.\n\n## – Følger situasjonen\n\nStåle Glad‐Iversen, som er fagleder for skog og vilt i Nes kommune, forteller at kommunen kommer til å følge med på situasjonen.\n\n– Mattilsynet håndterer saken videre i tråd med nasjonale retningslinjer for smittevern. Vi følger situasjonen og forholder oss til de rådene og tiltakene Mattilsynet eventuelt gir, sier Glad\\-Iversen.\n\nHan fortsetter:\n\n– Per nå er dette primært en dyrehelse\\- og smittevernfaglig sak som ligger under Mattilsynets ansvar, men dersom det kommer anbefalinger som berører skogbruket eller kommunens arbeid, vil vi selvsagt følge opp dette.",

Nå er det bekreftet at minst en er smittet av fugleinfluensa. Det er også påvist fugleinfluensa andre steder i landet.</p><amedia-placeholder index=\"1\" wordcount=\"38\" /><p>Onsdag 17. desember ble det observert flere døde kanadagjess ved Sagstusjøen, litt nord for Årnes. Fire stykker ble sendt til Mattilsynet, som igjen sendte dem videre til Veterinærinstituttet for å ta prøver. Nå er prøvesvaret klart.</p><amedia-placeholder index=\"2\" wordcount=\"74\" /><p>– Fire fugler ble sendt inn for testing, og av disse hadde én fugl så høye virusnivåer at laboratoriet kunne fastslå at det var høypatogen fugleinfluensa H5N1. De tre andre testet positivt for Influensa A, som er virusgruppen fugleinfluensa tilhører, sier Guro Frydenlund, seniorrådgiver hos Mattilsynet.</p><amedia-placeholder index=\"3\" wordcount=\"120\" /><h2>Sirkulerer blant villfugl</h2><p>– Vi vet at fugleinfluensa sirkulerer blant villfugl i hele landet, og sykdommen blir jevnlig påvist hos ville fugler flere steder i Norge. Sykdommen er nylig påvist på ville fugler i Oslo og nærliggende kommuner, sier Astri Ham, som er fungerende seksjonssjef for produksjonsdyr øst i Mattilsynet.</p><amedia-placeholder index=\"4\" wordcount=\"167\" /><p>Ifølge Mattilsynets oversikt over registrerte tilfeller av fugleinfluensa ble det også bekreftet at en kanadagås var smittet av fugleinfluensa i Ullensaker 23. desember.</p><amedia-placeholder index=\"5\" wordcount=\"190\" /><h2><span>Flere fugletyper</span></h2><p><i>– Har dere fått noen flere meldinger om døde fugler i Nes?</i></p><amedia-placeholder index=\"6\" wordcount=\"202\" /><p>– Vi har fått inn seks meldinger om døde villfugl ved kraftstasjonen på Rånåsfoss, og en melding om to døde andefugler på Sagstusjøen. Disse meldingene har kommet inn i julen. Det er ikke bestemt ennå om det skal tas prøver av disse fuglene, sier Guro Frydenlund.</p><amedia-placeholder index=\"7\" wordcount=\"248\" /><p>Arne Lund er en av personene som har meldt ifra om døde svaner ved kraftstasjonen på Rånåsfoss.</p><amedia-placeholder index=\"8\" wordcount=\"265\" /><p>– For en stund siden så jeg en død svane i samme område, men den lå på land. Nå kom jeg igjen over døde fugler. Det som overrasket meg denne gangen var at det var mange døde svaner som lå sammen i vannet, sier Lund.</p><amedia-placeholder index=\"9\" wordcount=\"310\" /><p>Han fortsetter:</p><amedia-placeholder index=\"10\" wordcount=\"312\" /><p>– I tillegg til de fem døde observerte jeg én som levde, men den sturet og så veldig syk ut. Det fikk meg til å mistenke fugleinfluensa. Jeg har meldt ifra om funnet mitt til Mattilsynet, sier Lund.</p><amedia-placeholder index=\"11\" wordcount=\"350\" /><h2><span>Smitter sjelden til mennesker</span></h2><p>Mattilsynet forteller at det er viktig å melde ifra om man kommer over døde fugler.</p><amedia-placeholder index=\"12\" wordcount=\"365\" /><p>– Vi bruker informasjonen til å vurdere om vi skal ta prøver av fuglene og få en oversikt over smittesituasjonen i et område, sier Astri Ham og legger til:</p><amedia-placeholder index=\"13\" wordcount=\"394\" /><p>– Fugleinfluensa er en svært smittsom sykdom for fugler, og det er ikke mulig å stoppe smitte blant villfugl. Fuglene smittes hovedsakelig av hverandre og det er dessverre lite vi kan gjøre for å forhindre det. De mest vanlige symptomene er nedsatt skyhet, balanseproblemer, unormal vridning av hodet og vanskeligheter med å fly. En fugl kan være smittet med fugleinfluensa selv om den ikke viser alle symptomene samtidig.</p><amedia-placeholder index=\"14\" wordcount=\"462\" /><p><i>– Hvis man kommer over en syk fugl, hva oppfordrer dere til å gjøre?</i></p><amedia-placeholder index=\"15\" wordcount=\"476\" /><p>– Selv om smitte til mennesker er svært sjeldent, er det viktig å ikke ta direkte på syke og døde fugler. Vi anbefaler at privatpersoner ikke håndterer fugler som kan være smittet av fugleinfluensa, men lar syke fugler være i fred. Det stresser fuglene, og kan i tillegg bidra til å spre smitte. Noen fugler kan også overleve sykdommen om de får ro. Vi har råd om fugleinfluensa på våre nettsider, og oppfordrer folk til å følge disse, sier Ham.</p><amedia-placeholder index=\"16\" wordcount=\"556\" /><p>På Mattilsynets sider står det at det aldri har vært påvist smitte av fugleinfluensa hos mennesker i Norge, men at det kan forekomme smitte til mennesker ved svært nær kontakt med syke eller døde dyr.</p><amedia-placeholder index=\"17\" wordcount=\"591\" /><h2>– Følger situasjonen</h2><p>Ståle Glad‐Iversen, som er fagleder for skog og vilt i Nes kommune, forteller at kommunen kommer til å følge med på situasjonen. </p><amedia-placeholder index=\"18\" wordcount=\"614\" /><p>– Mattilsynet håndterer saken videre i tråd med nasjonale retningslinjer for smittevern.
