Noen av hovedpunktene fra rapporten er:\n\n- Undersøkelsen har ikke påvist noen tekniske feil eller mangler ved bilen.\n- Det er ikke funnet feil eller mangler ved selve veien på stedet.\n- Det har ikke vært mulig å hente ut informasjon fra navigasjonsenheten i bilen.\n\n– Simuleringer gjort av Statens vegvesen viser at bilen har holdt fart langt over fartsgrensen, når en undersøker avstanden mellom stedet der bilen forlot veien til der bilen stanset i vannet. Rapporten viser at føreren har fått problemer med å kontrollere kjøretøyet, grunnet høy fart, sier Robertsen videre.\n\n## Eier kjørte\n\nPå denne bakgrunn, og sammenholdt med egen etterforskning, legger politiet til grunn at årsaken til ulykken er for høy fart som gjorde at føreren ikke klarte å kontrollere kjøretøyet.\n\nEtterforskningen har blant annet søkt å klarlegge hvem som førte bilen.\n\n– Våre funn tyder klart på at eier av bilen også var fører. Vedkommende var en av de som omkom. Etterforskningen har vært omfattende, fordi politiet har undersøkt ulike mulige forklaringer på at bilen havnet utenfor veien. Flere etterforskningsskritt har vært gjennomført, i tillegg til kriminaltekniske undersøkelser, forteller politiadvokat Runar Mellem Robertsen i en pressemelding.</p><amedia-placeholder index=\"1\" wordcount=\"52\" /><h2>Rapporten</h2><p>Et viktig bidrag til etterforskningen har vært Statens vegvesens sakkyndige rapport etter ulykka, som politiet nå har mottatt. Noen av hovedpunktene fra rapporten er:</p><ul>  <li>Undersøkelsen har ikke påvist noen tekniske feil eller mangler ved bilen.</li>  <li>Det er ikke funnet feil eller mangler ved selve veien på stedet.</li>  <li>Det har ikke vært mulig å hente ut informasjon fra navigasjonsenheten i bilen.</li>  </ul><p>– Simuleringer gjort av Statens vegvesen viser at bilen har holdt fart langt over fartsgrensen, når en undersøker avstanden mellom stedet der bilen forlot veien til der bilen stanset i vannet. Rapporten viser at føreren har fått problemer med å kontrollere kjøretøyet, grunnet høy fart, sier Robertsen videre.</p><amedia-placeholder index=\"2\" wordcount=\"124\" /><h2><span>Eier kjørte</span></h2><p>På denne bakgrunn, og sammenholdt med egen etterforskning, legger politiet til grunn at årsaken til ulykken er for høy fart som gjorde at føreren ikke klarte å kontrollere kjøretøyet.</p><amedia-placeholder index=\"3\" wordcount=\"153\" /><p>Etterforskningen har blant annet søkt å klarlegge hvem som førte bilen.</p><amedia-placeholder index=\"4\" wordcount=\"164\" /><p>– Våre funn tyder klart på at eier av bilen også var fører. Vedkommende var en av de som omkom.
