Importen av biler produsert i Kina økte med over 36 prosent i fjor. Samtidig ber Nasjonal sikkerhetsmyndighet (NSM) om økt bevissthet rundt bilenes evne til å samle inn data.
I 2025 ble det importert 43.064 elbiler produsert i Kina, det høyeste antallet som er registrert. Siden 2016 har importen økt fra null til totalt 134.232 elbiler på ti år.
– Innen ti år vil over halvparten av nyregistrerte biler på norske veier være Kina-produsert, sier Jonathan Parr, analysesjef i Rebil til Dagens Næringsliv.

I 2025 ble det importert 43.064 elbiler produsert i Kina, det høyeste antallet som er registrert. Siden 2016 har importen økt fra null til totalt 134.232 elbiler på ti år.

Importen av biler produsert i Kina økte med over 36 prosent i fjor. Samtidig ber Nasjonal sikkerhetsmyndighet (NSM) om økt bevissthet rundt bilenes evne til å samle inn data.
I 2025 ble det importert 43.064 elbiler produsert i Kina, det høyeste antallet som er registrert. Siden 2016 har importen økt fra null til totalt 134.232 elbiler på ti år.
– Innen ti år vil over halvparten av nyregistrerte biler på norske veier være Kina-produsert, sier Jonathan Parr, analysesjef i Rebil til Dagens Næringsliv.
Han viser til utviklingen i bruktbilmarkedet.
– I 2024 var den kinesiske andelen av bilene vi solgte tre prosent. Nå er andelen doblet til seks prosent, sier Parr.
Direktør Arne Christian Haugstøyl i Nasjonal sikkerhetsmyndighet understreker at myndighetene ikke advarer mot kjøp av kinesiskproduserte biler.
– NSM ønsker økt bevissthet rundt hvordan moderne kjøretøy i praksis er rullende datamaskiner som samler inn informasjon. Hvor denne informasjonen sendes, eller hva den brukes til vet man ikke sikkert, skriver Haugstøyl i en epost.
